Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Save My Seet website and services (the “Platform”), operated by Sakhile Motoro, trading as Save My Seet (“Save My Seet”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. What Save My Seet is — and is not
Save My Seet is an online marketplace that connects clients (“Customers”) with independent barbers, hairstylists and nail technicians (“Providers”). We provide the booking and queue technology only.
- We are not a party to any booking or agreement between a Customer and a Provider. That agreement is solely between them.
- We are not a payment processor. No payment is taken through the Platform. All payment for services is arranged and made directly between the Customer and the Provider, in person.
- We do not employ Providers, and Providers are not our agents. They are independent businesses responsible for their own services, pricing, conduct, licensing and compliance with the law.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to use the Platform.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
- You may not create an account for anyone else or impersonate any person or business.
3. Bookings and queues
- A booking or queue position is a request to a Provider. Availability, confirmation, cancellation and no-show policies are set and enforced by the Provider, not by us.
- Queue positions and any estimated wait times are indicative only and are not guaranteed.
- We are not responsible if a Provider cancels, is late, does not honour a booking, closes their queue, or is otherwise unavailable.
- Any dispute about a service, price, cancellation, refund or conduct must be resolved directly between the Customer and the Provider.
4. Provider obligations
If you use the Platform as a Provider, you agree that:
- Your business information, services, prices and availability are accurate and kept up to date.
- You hold all licences, permits and qualifications required by law to provide your services, and you comply with all applicable health, safety and consumer-protection laws.
- You will honour confirmed bookings and treat Customers professionally.
- You are solely responsible for the services you provide and for any consequences arising from them.
5. Reviews and content
- Reviews must reflect a genuine experience of a completed booking and must not be false or defamatory.
- You retain ownership of content you submit (such as reviews, business descriptions and images), but you grant us a licence to display and use it to operate and promote the Platform.
- We may remove content that breaches these Terms or the law.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems.
- Post false, misleading, offensive, or infringing content.
- Harvest or misuse other users’ personal information.
7. No warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, about the Platform or about any Provider or the services they offer. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee any Provider, their qualifications, the quality, safety or legality of their services, or the accuracy of their listings. You use the Platform and engage Providers at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Save My Seet, its owners and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss or damage arising from:
- the acts, omissions, conduct or services of any Provider or Customer;
- any booking, cancellation, no-show, dispute, injury, dissatisfaction or loss connected to a service;
- any inaccuracy in a Provider’s listing or availability;
- any interruption, error or unavailability of the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, where it applies.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Save My Seet and its owners from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or — if you are a Provider — the services you provide.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or use the Platform in a way that may harm us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time.
11. Changes to the Platform and these Terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, and we may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
